Camp Exclamation Point provides continuity and community to underserved rural Vermont kids through a weeklong residential summer camp.

CERTIFIED LIFEGUARDS (OVER 18) NEEDED!  Can you or someone you know help us staff our waterfront and boathouse this summer?  It’s a crucial part of the camp experience.  Visit our volunteer page for more information and an application.

The dates for this year’s camp are Sunday, August 17th through Saturday August 23rd. We have reached our camper limit and acceptance letters have been sent.  This will be the first summer at our new home, lovely Camp Farnsworth in Thetford, VT.  Farnsworth is operated by the Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains and we thank them for their hospitality.

Bowling for CAMP! took place on June 13th at Spare Time in Colchester, VT.  Thanks to Emily Gibbs for organizing, to everyone who raised money (including a big group from Storm Cheer), and to our donors…who raised over $2500 for CAMP!

We appreciate your donation via the secure Paypal button below.  If you know of someone who might be able to make a major donation or of a grant we should apply for, please contact John.  Download our fundraising informational flyer here.

Tonight I happened to be in the right place at the right time and I was able to witness a hot air balloon land in the backyard of a friend's house. The neighborhood kids all got a chance to take a short tethered ride. "This is the best moment of my life!" one of them exclaimed. To me, that statement reflects one of the best parts of Camp. If we, as counselors, can create that excitement, that love of life, that one moment of sheer joy for our kids at Camp, that is what it is all about. This picture is of my favorite moments from last year. Here is a group of nine people, some of whom knew each other, some who were strangers just the day before, who came together and created this moment that will last in our memories forever. The kids will take these moments that we create and cherish them. I am honored and humbled to be able to be part of these moments with the kids each year. - Scott Moore Head Counselor ... "Dear Camp! I really feel bad that I cant make it this year for Camp!... Ever since I have joined Camp Exclamation Point I have always felt like I was a somebody. That I actually matter.. and that there are people just like me. That I'm not alone, Camp Exclamation Point gave me friends, and new ways to accept who I am and that it's okay to be different from everyone else. That being different is actually a beautiful thing... I love every single one of you beautiful faced people that I've gone to camp with the past two years. Next year i'll definitely be coming home." CAMP! 2013
Thanks to everyone who helped make last summer’s session a huge success.  Over 80 talented volunteer staff members created magic for 113 campers!  We are grateful for the participation of CLiF once again, donating books to all our campers as they have for several years.   This year we were also honored by the presence of three wonderful storytellers for our campfire story night – Simon Brooks, Angela Klinger, and Odds Bodkin – who captivated one and all.   As always, we were sad to leave but came away with memories to last us until next August.
